Where has Summer Gone
June was a whirlwind. Getting ready and showing at the first ever New York Country Living Fair was crazy. It was held at the fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. , which is in the Hudson Valley. It was a gorgeous area. So historic. We passed by President Roosevelt's home and the Vanderbilts everyday.
All of the little towns were so quaint with shops and cafes. I definitely will be going back.
The show was fabulous as always. Great vendors. shoppers and food ! What more could you ask for? It did rain a little on Friday, but it didn't stop the shoppers. They were out and about.
When I used to have a retail store about 6 years ago, I bought from Primitives by Kathy. Well guess what ? She shopped at my booth at the show. Thought that was kinda neat. She and Annie were even kind enough to take a photo with me.
The first week of July, we took a much needed vacation. And then it was back to work. You know ...Auctions, junking, cleaning and fixing it all and of course sewing. We have 4 fall shows, staring August 23rd and 24th with Bella Rustica in Nashville, TN. So, I better get back at it. I'll leave you with a few pics from the CLFair and some auction goodies !!!

That's right , The Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck , NY is fast approaching. This show will be held June 7-8-9 at The Duchess County Fairgrounds. We will be bringing lots of great vintage finds, one of a kind uniques, antique ceiling tile shelves and memo boards, our hand made french script and vintage grain sack pillow covers , angel vine plants and so much more. We are getting busy, busy, busy to make this our best show yet.
Well , busy is really the only mode we have known lately. We just finished two great shows, The Junk Jubilee in Des Moines, IA and The Vintage Marketplace at The Extravaganza in Springfield, OH. Both shows were awesome. The shoppers were out in full force and the weather was pretty good ,too.
Gonna leave you with a few pics from the last two shows. Hope to see you New York!
