What a GREAT time we had in Des Moines, IA at the Junk Jubilee .  The show went off without a hitch.    We sold a ton of stuff and did a little shopping , too.  The junk in Iowa is Fantastic.  Miccia  really knows how to put a show together  !  Here's a few pics of our booth.

Most of this sold !  Love the 1948 World Map and the great cubby hole island.

Pillow cubes all sold the first day.

Loved the EXTRA Large mailbox

This great vintage sign found a new home.

                    Where has Summer Gone

Well I did it again,  I haven't blogged in 2 months.  I try but there just isn't enough hours in the day , days in the week or weeks in the months .  Really, I have just been busy.

June was a whirlwind.  Getting ready and showing at the first ever New York Country Living Fair was crazy.  It was held at the  fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. , which is in the Hudson Valley.  It was a gorgeous area.  So historic.  We passed by President Roosevelt's home and the Vanderbilts everyday.
All of the little towns were so quaint with shops and cafes.  I definitely will be going back.
The show was fabulous as always.  Great vendors. shoppers and food !  What more could you ask for? It did rain a little on Friday, but it didn't stop the shoppers.  They were out and about.

When I used to have a retail store about 6 years ago,  I bought from Primitives by Kathy.  Well guess what ?  She shopped at my booth at the show.  Thought that was kinda neat.  She and Annie were even kind enough to take a photo with me.

The first week of July, we took a much needed vacation. And then it was back to work.  You know ...Auctions, junking, cleaning and fixing it all and of course sewing.  We have 4 fall shows, staring August 23rd and 24th with Bella Rustica in Nashville, TN.  So, I better get back at it.    I'll leave you with a few pics from the CLFair and some auction goodies !!!
