Spring in Texas
"A view of the Rose Trees at The Antique Rose Emporium"
During our trip to Texas last week we made our annual stop at the Antique Rose Emporium located in Brenham, Texas. If you have never been, it definitely needs to be put on your list of places to go!!! The majority of there offerings are from 19th and 20th century clippings from old garden roses that were found at old farmhouses, cemeteries and abandoned home sites. These roses have been reclaimed and saved and are now ready to be placed in gardens all over the world. Along with such great roses they also offer many different plants, herbs and garden ornamentals. Shannon and I both usually buy several different plants to bring home and place in our own gardens. Check out there website at www.weareroses.com. They ship almost any where in the U.S. Below are several pictures of the many different gardens at the Rose Emporium. Enjoy!!!!
